'Flea-Pit Music' has been (intoxicating and) invigorating music fans for over a decade. Best described by The Guardian as “a cross between the music of Ian Dury, Brecht and Weil, an Irish pub band and a 1950s skiffle group. Songs of urban alienation with plenty of fierce, spontaneous playing", their original sound is personified by the dark social commentary of Burch's lyrics and vocals.
